Provenance: From a private collection, who was a former theatrical makeup artist and wigmaker specializing in opera in the late 1950s. They worked in a theatrical costume rental house in San Francisco, CA, USA, and was gifted the sketches by a coworker.
Condition: Toning, soiling, slight foxing throughout, acid burn, and and handling wear at sight. Soiling and tape residue verso.
