Two Jacquard Woven Paisley Shawls

Circa 1870 and 1880.
Both with black fields, one a square and the other rectangular.
Woven with deep borders of boteh in may colors. The square example incorporates bright shades including scarlet red and orange, while the rectangular shawl has muted tones of brown, green, ocher, blue, etc.
The rectangular example with an embroidered signature in the black field.
Approximate dimensions: 70 x 70 square 62 x 116, the rectangular example..
Condition: The square shawl is in very good condition, with minor losses to threads the rectangular example with holes, and several short tears.
