Each of formed with lightly scalloped outer rims enclosing matte royal blue grounds decorated with raised gilt floral bouquets in gilt scroll cartouches, on gilt cell and diaper pattern a band of gilt hearts and scrolls to well edges, centering blue medallions decorated with three gilt roses within elaborate gilt scrolling stylized foliate surround.
Marked to undersides in green enamel LIMOGES W.G. Cie FRANCE with brackets, and in gold Wm. GUERIN CO. / FRANCE/LIMOGES.
Approximate dimensions: 10 3/4 Diameter..
Condition: One plate chipped to underside, one plate with 1 1/2 filled chip to plate on shoulder edge most with some cut marks, minor to more substantial wear to gilding.
