Late 20th Century.
Four dessert plates, painted with garlands and sprays to gilt rims, centering more of same to center and six dinner plates, custard colored rims, with elaborate rouletted gilt border including raised gilt dots borders of baskets, scrolls, etc., framing the off white centers.
Both plate sets with blue painted lamb mark over Dresden, Made in Saxony. The dessert plates number 255, and the dinner plates, 260.
Approximate dimensions: 8 1/4 Diameter and 10 3/4 Diameter, respectively..
Condition: The dessert plates with wear and losses to wide gilt band near cavetto. The gilding on the dinner plates is in very good condition, one plate has two gold dots covering black spots of kiln blowouts, and three of the plates with very minor irregular surface as fired to face. All of the plates with very minor wear and scratching. Please ask for additional photographs of this lot if unable to ascertain condition issues from photos on line.
