Circa 1915.
Lobe molded, with gilt rims and bands and stylized foliate anthemia. The cavetto of each painted with gilt band decorated with raised gilt dots, enclosing a band of stylized foliate motifs, each centering a classically garbed muse, possibly of the Hours,with a floral garland, hand painted by E Everard and signed lower right.
Undersides printed with brown vase over WEDGWOOD ENGLAND. Stencilled in red enamel WILLIAM H. PLUMMER CO./ NEW YORK. In blue enamel near gilt footrims, X8915 special order number. Each plate signed E. Everard to lower right of dancing figure.
Approximate dimensions: 10 1/8 Diameter.
Condition: Overall condition is very good with no nicks or chips. There are very light glaze scratches. Some of the rims shimmer from gilt and or gilt residue. Please contact us for further photographs if required on this lot.
