Designed by Ambrogio Pozzi (Italian, 1931-1997). Duo patter is a two-toned porcelain service with minimalist rounded and cylindrical forms, boasting wide, simple handles. In this example, the band is orange-red. Comprising: Pair of vegetable tureens and covers, 6 1/2 H. x 9 W. x 7 1/2 D. , an open sauce boat, 3 H. x 7 W. x 4 5/8 W. together with underplate, 1 H. x 6 3/4 Diameter. Two platters, 1 H. x 13 W. x 8 3/4 D., and 1 1/4 H. x 14 3/8 W. x 10 D. Coffee pot and cover, 9 H. x 8 1/2 W. x 4 1/2 D. Creamer: 3 3/4 H. x 5 1/4 W. x 3 1/8 D., Sugar bowl and cover, 4 H. x 4. Diameter. Four dinner plates, 10 Diameter, four luncheon or salad plates, 8 1/4 Diameter. Four dessert plates, 6 1/2 Diameter. Six broth bowls, 2 1/8 H. x 5 1/2 W. x 4 D., and and six underplates, 6 1/8 Diameter. Four coffee cups, 2 3/4 H. x 4 W. x 2 3/4 D. and saucers 5 1/8 D. Forty-one items total.
Green transfer-printed script Rosenthal, crossed batons, under cross, over GERMANY to underside of each item.
Approximate dimensions:
Condition: Very good condition overall. Two minute chips to coffee pot spout and a couple of plates with miniscule chip to edge. Several plates with miniscule bits of loss to orange border and faint spots of discoloration.
