Swirling molded globular vase, with ashen green to red brown glaze, painted with ocher dogwood, with sterling silver scrolling foliate asymmetrical floral and foliate overlay of conforming shape, and with crimped rim.
The pottery stamp impressed with Rookwood marks, F, shape 612, W, and incised very lightly with an S, and also incised with M. The sterling with incised mark R 109 B, stamped GORHAM MFG CO.
Approximate dimensions: 4 H. x 3 1/2 Diameter..
Condition: Very good condition. Short scratch to vase near cladding. Patination and some surface wear to silver overlay.
