Scallop-moulded squat, globular form, with applied half-lemon as the knop to the conforming-shape top scroll-moulded handles to the sides. On four scroll-form legs. Painted in polychrome enamels with floral sprays and bouquets. The lemon treated as a trompe-loeil fruit, with branch and leaves painted realistically.
Impressed shield to underside of base,
9 1/2 H. x 9 W. at handles, 8 D.
By descent from the Kaumheimer family, Stuttgart, Germany.
(Chip to flange, approximately 1/4 x 3/4. Chips to leaves on lemon stem, and a loss of leaves or a lemon slice cover).
