The scallop-moulded oval tureen base issuing two out-curling scroll-form handles, outlined in gold enamel the conforming top with voided areas for the handles to the sides and step-moulded, the knop formed in high relief as a recumbant cow. The top and sides painted in bright polychrome enamels with floral sprays and sprigs the cover with gilt to the voided ends.
Impressed shield mark to underside of base, with O next to it. The shield and O over two dots.

1/2 L. firing crack to caw, rear hooves toward stomach. Minor gilding wear.
