Circa 1925.
Soft rose silk with half-length sleeves formed from the join of shaped front and back panels. The gown is open along the outseam and trimmed with decorative red-brown and turquoise Murano beads. The over-tunic sides and gown hem similarly beaded. Complete with matching silk sash stenciled with a foliate pattern in bronze.

Approximate dimensions: Bust 30-48, Waist of belt 30 1/2. The belt has been doubled over at one end, if opened, this would yield a waist of 34 Length 56..
From a San Francisco private collection, in the same family for two generations, thence by gift.

Condition: Very good condition, stored with care and properly CURLED in small box. The silk is fresh, not shot, and the threads are similarly in good condition. The beads appear to be as applied in the 1920s.
