Collection of Pipes in Shadowbox, mostly European

Circa 1870 and later.
Over twenty meerschaum examples, the bowls carved variously as dogs, hunters, horses, women, lions, etc. Two with geometric patterns, as well as two with silver mounts. A few, of exotic woods, and a few of Middle Eastern or Asian origins, one of the latter with carved jade mouthpiece. All mounted to a shadowbox with linen backing.
Approximate dimensions, the shadowbox: 36 H. x 48 W. x 4 D., the longest pipe: 33..
Condition: Most of the pipes in good condition, some with scratches to surfaces, some with discolored Meerschaum. One pipe, lowest, third to the right, with broken mouthpiece glued back together. Some scratches to surface of shadowbox.
