The deep rounded bowl is supported on a high splayed foot, with the interior painted in blue enamel depicting a blossoming plant medallion. The exterior is painted with gilt-decorated composite lotus scrolls, and the rim is bound in a metal band. The hollow foot is inscribed with a six-character Jiajing mark in blue enamel.
Diameter 5.6 inches (14.3 cm).
Condition: Wear and paint losses, oxidation to the metal rim.
