Provenance: Purchased in the early 20th century, passed through the family by descent.
CONDITION: In overall good condition, when examined under black light there are areas of in painting and repair there looks to have been a repair on the right side of the painting along the stretcher bar line. The canvas does not seem to have been relined. The signature does not glow under black light and looks to be original to the work. Would benefit from being cleaned.
