Circa 1910-1920.
A Steuben gold Aurene bottle vase of small proportions, with waisted neck over globular shoulder, above bulb shaped body, together with a blue Aurene vase, with waisted neck under everted rim, over tapering globular body.
The gold vessel stamped in white lettering, indistinctly. The blue vase incised STEUBEN to underside.
Approximate dimensions: 5 1/8 H. and 5 1/4 H., respectively.
Provenance: Private collection from a San Francisco Family, San Francisco, CA, USA. A note in the blue vase says it was purchased from Peter Bentz Antiques, Milwaukee, WI.
Condition: Very good overall condition. The blue vase with several scratches to surface, and one dimple (as manufactured). Both vessels with minor surface wear consistent with use, particularly to undersides.
