Comprising: The first, a large creamy white glaze bowl with molded upright overlapping lappets decoration and a band or molded lotus and leafy tendrils to the exterior, the recessed base bears an apocryphal six-character Chenghua mark in underglaze blue within a double-lined circle the second: a yellow ground wucai glaze bowl, the exterior finely painted to depict a pair of dragons chasing the flaming pearl amid scattered clouds, the recessed base bears an apocryphal six-character Kangxi mark in underglaze blue.
The white bowl: Diameter 7 7/8 inches (19.5 cm) the yellow bowl: diameter 4 3/8 inches (11 cm).
Condition: (the white bowl) Hairlines and surface scratch marks (the yellow bowl) chips on the rim.
