The first and second possibly Italian the third by an Italian of a German child.
Late 18th Century, the first the second circa 1770 the last circa 1870.
Comprising a double sided glass reliquary miniature with brass rim and loop, enclosing a paper cut-out and ink depiction of St. George slaying the Dragon, the verso filled with gilt metal filigree and green glass wrapped in gilt wire anotherdouble sided glass miniature, ink and graphite drawing of a raven haired beauty and her daughter, on paper, probably Italian School. The verso, covered in blue silk, and with a blue export sticker. Held together with a screw-top gilt brass band. The last a watercolor on vellum backed by foil, quintet of portraits of young girls, all red heads with blue hair possibly five sisters, or possibly one portrait of the same girl over time. All within a pale blue clouded background. Signed Carelli A. to lower center. Under glass, in a square ebonized wood frame, with gilt brass roundel.
Only the last item is signed Carelli, A. The quintile drawing and the St. George reliquary both with Samlung Kaumheimer stickers to backs.
3 7/8 H. x 3 1/4, the reliquary 4 H. x 2 3/4 the second the third 5 1/4 square framed 2 3/4 diameter sight.
The St. George possibly cut out from an illustrated manuscript, with crinkled paper.
