Lucien Lelong (French, 1889-1958). Under garment: Taupe chiffon v-shaped inserts to front and back of bodice and to underarms, sewn to lightweight black silk jersey sheath. The whole covered with a mesh made of small square pailletes or sequins sewn in squares, and cut as a tunic, dropping from shoulders to lower waist, and another curtain of the pailletes from waist to hem. Self sash to left side.
