Turquoise ground, the domed cover with inverted pineapple knop, elongated oval body with raised paste gilt decoration, and painted in polychrome enamels with a scene of courting couple in rustic setting. Gilt brass mask mounts to sides. Mounted on to gilt brass squared base.
Underglaze blue D within interlaced Ls to cover and to underside of base.

Condition: Overall condition is very good, with minimal wear and scratching to enamels.
