Roland Paris (1894-1945). Modeled, cast and carved as jester with an owl perched on his knees, and a gentleman wearing a hat with a bird perched on his knees, both on black marble plinths.
Signed Roland Paris to bookend backs, lower right.
Approximate dimensions: 7 high x 2 3/4 inches wide..

Condition: Minor paint loss, mainly to the jesters hat. Narrow crack to the faces.
