Pair of Gilt Bronze Mounted Famille Verte Bowls

Louis XIV style pair of punch bowls and covers, painted with figures in gardens among tables and pavilions, under bands of scrolling flower heads. Gilt bronze mounts with pomegranate knops and wreathed handles, and quadripodal shaped bases. Both bowls have the addition of an extra porcelain ring above the rim of the initial bowl, to which has been added an unglazed porcelain flange, which is painted with orange flowerheads.
Approximate dimensions: 16 1/4 H. x 14 3/4 W. at handles x 11 1/4 Diameter.
Condition: Good condition overall. Minor losses to paint, flaking, to flanges. Minor wear to gilding and enamels. Some minor surface wear and abrasions to mounts.
