Each with bronze sphinx issuing gilt bronze candleholder from the head, on white marble plinth with gray marble slab base, green felt to undersides.
Approximate dimensions: 7 1/2 high x 7 1/8 long x 2 1/2 wide..
Provenance: from the Mr. Vito Giallo Collection, Chapter II.
Condition: Patina to bronze elements, gilt bronze with wear. Marble with some discoloration, light chipping and wear around edges. One sphinx with apparent repair to tail and faint crack to side of body, the other with cracking to sides of body.
