Claude Francois Rabiat (French, 17561815). Ebonized bronze winged victory figures each holding two gilt-bronze cornucopia form lights in each hand, while standing with one foot on gilt bronze pedestals decorated finely engraved feather and leaf motifs, the pedestals resting on square stepped bases.
Rabiat inscised to both bases.
Approximate dimensions: 25 high x 11 wide x 7 inches deep..
Condition: Welded repair to one light arm, another apparent repair to the other figures light arms. Apparent repair to one figures arm. Minor wear and patina to the gilt bronze base. A few small marks and rubbings to the ebonized bronze. Significant patina to the candle cup interiors.
