Pair of Egyptian Revival Male Female Armchairs

Second half 19th century.
The male chair with cenral shield to crown rail centering a floral bouqet, the shielf issuing foliate scrolls on either side, additional carved decoration throughout the female schair identical aside from the crown rail both on casters completely missing upholstered backs and seats with old securing nails and bits of fabric still present, arms still with upholstery.
Approximate dimensions: Male armchair 39 1/2 high x 26 1/2 wide x 31 deep, female armchair 35 3/4 high x 26 1/2 wide x 31 deep..
Condition: Overall wear to frames is good considering age. Female chair with repaired crack to rear leg.
