Each barrel-form stool with two panels of courtly ladies and attendants between rows of raised bosses, all reserved on a dense pattern of leafy vines bearing fruits and flowers, with two opposing pierced joined cash designs, the top further decorated with a similar flowering foliate pattern interrupted by a central pierced cash medallion and four cartouches of different animals, all within a pale blue-ground leiwen border.
