CONDITION: In overall good condition the colors are bright and the impression is strong. Discoloration consistent with age visible crease on the left edge spanning vertically up the whole sheet. No visible areas of paper loss.
Notes: Situated on the banks of Lake Maggiore, Ascona has been a favorite retreat for artists and spa-lovers. Working in a Broders-esque vein, Ernst gives us the citys sheltered harbor and Santa Maria della Misercordia church. This is the Dutch variant of the design.
