Marco Zanuso (Italian, 1916-2001) for Zanotta. Tubular chrome chair design, with black leather cushions fitted into the frames the ottomans en suite. First designed for a competition held at the Museum of Modern Art in 1947. Winner, gold medal, Milan Triennale in 1948.
Approximate dimensions: 29 H. x 28 1/4 W. x 42 1/2 D., the frames of the seats. Cushions: 22 H. x 22 W. x 29 D. The ottomans 13 H. x 25 W. x 25 1/2 D. The ottoman cushions: 5 H. x 23 Square.
Condition: The overall condition is good to very good. Frames with show some patina, light weather exposure in sparse areas, minor scratches and wear. The cushions are broken in, one more worn than the other, in each seat and ottoman combination. Light scuffing to leather on armrests.
