Faience vase with a globular body accented with indentations around the side, turquoise glaze. Ibis with verdigris copper head and legs, set in a gilt painted wood body.
Approximate dimensions: Vase 5 1/2 high x 5 1/2 inches diameter, Ibis 2 1/2 high x 3 7/8 long x 1 7/8 inches wide..
Condition: Apparent repair to a large chip in the vase. Some very shallow chips to the rim. Ibis with later putty/glue to hold in the copper appendages. Overall wear is very good for the age.
