Large Bronze Gong on Carved Wood Stand

The stand with a crown carved with a scrolled framework around a scrolled floral and foliate motif, the spandrels with cat like animals on foliate vines, later mallet included.
Approximate dimensions: 80 high x 70 wide x 18 inches deep..
Condition: The ropes and screw securing the gong appear to be later. The wood stand with some loss and previous insect damage. Patina to the gong. Apparent subtle repair to crack across the crown. Some apparent later screws indicate restoration and repair.
