The lid with foliate decoration in low relief and painted red eagle crest to the lid, Renaissance style painted figural scene to the front, additional low relief carving throughout, the piece supported by large paw feet.
Approximate dimensions: 23 1/2 high x 68 wide x 22 inches deep..
Condition: Evidence of previous insect damage. Some wear, rubbing, and loss to the paint. Relief decoration with some loss. No lock.
