Iranian Silver Samovar

Mid 20th Century.
Cylindrical body molded with tapering sides, chased and lightly repousse with various animals and flowers in quatrelobed cartouches between extensive foliate and scroll decoration and wrigglework. Two handles, various knobs decorated with turned wood. All over low flat square base on four paw feet.
Impressed to neck with lion mark in square and a town mark in Arabic.
Approximate dimensions: 17 3/8 H.3526 grams inclusive of wood knops but excluding pouring knob.
Condition: Tarnished, with nice patina throughout. The knob at spout possibly a replacement. Lacking lid.
