Each Soviet/Russian box with finely painted figural scenes on black lacquer. Additional boxes comprising one indian inlaid hexagonal box, two Chinese red lacquer goldfish boxes, and a box of possible Persian origin.
Most black lacquer boxes marked, Made in USSR.
