The porcelain by Hutschenreuther. The bust length portrait of a brown haired beauty signed, lower left Wagner, after the painting of the same name by Angelo Asti (1847 - 1903). Painted within a trio of gilt paste and rouletted bands with black enamel highlights. Within a Renaissance Revival style scalloping circular frame.
To unglazed underside: spurious blue beehive mark. Impressed PLM crown over G/M/HR waisted crest, over 23. In black enamel Erblht. In red ink toward glazed rim to back underside, 26 1/2 CZ, 42 B.
Approximate dimensions: The charger 10 1/8 Diameter, sight. The frame, 17 Diameter..
Condition: Very minor scratches to surfaces of the plaque. The frame with previous repairs, chips, losses, and several pieces now chipped off, present in a plastic bag now attached to wire hanger.
