Four Victorian Black Mourning Jacket and Three Skirts

Circa 1890 - 1910.
Comprising a pleated silk mesh mourning jacket with embroidered flowerheads and tape lace, ruched silk gauze ruffles at sleeve wrists and at hems, black sequined neck closure. Two lined skirts, with satin mesh and tape lace, one with ruching and flounces to hems. Third skirt with embroidered mesh, and sequins and beads in wreaths surrounding floral designs. All the skirts with modest trains.
Approximate dimensions: 34 Bust, 41 L. from shoulder to hem, the jacket. The skirts 31 1/2 (lace gauze) and 32-32 1/2 waists. The lengths to hems, 55L to 60 L.
Condition: The jacket with tear to gauze on left sleeve at bicep area, and subsequent drooping to that sleeve. Each with some wear, tears, to linings. Some losses to beads, sequins, loose threads. The thirds skirt lining with numerous holes and reinforced waist.
