Pencil and watercolor drawing on cardboard of a four masted Spanish cruiser ship, the Reina Christina. Partial drawing of Alfonso XII coat of arms within yellow and blue banded border upper right. Embellished lettering Viva L.D. S., upper left. Fanciful lion port side of bow. On red mat, under glass, in ebonized wood frame.
Approximate dimensions: 6 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches, framed..
Minor scuffing, light tear to lower edge of drawing. Scuffs to frame.
Notes: The Reina Christina was put into the sea in 1887, and was active in the Spanish - American War. Dewey sank the ship in the Philippines, 1898.
