Each with gilt band, dots, banded dots over French blue band bracketted by further slender gilt bands, over a band of acanthus leaf in slender gilt spade and stylized floral border. Comprising: 24 dinner plates 15 dinner-sized rim soup plates 24 luncheon plates 3 luncheon-sized or consumm rim soup plates 13 salad plates 18 vegetable side dishes 1 small cereal bowl 6 teacup and saucer sets 9 demitasse cup and saucer sets, plus an additional saucer one low compote three covers for vegetable tureens, the tureens absent meat platter, two oval serving dishes in sizes a two handled serving dish and a gravy or sauce boat and two underplates. Plus a later and unrelated round serving dish with tolled gilt band to rim, also for Tiffany (Total count for service 127 pieces Total count for lot: 128).
All but three demitasse cups marked in puce: Manufactured by the Worcester Royal Porcelain Company in an oval belt, with the script entwined RW pendant and FOR/TIFFANY CO./ NEW YORK to the center of the oval. Red hand-enamelled pattern 8997/Br and other /initials toward footrims. Many impressed with factory cypher and letter B.
The dinner plates: 9 7/9 Diameter the meat platter 20 1/2 x 17 1/4.
Basically very good to good condition. Many articles with minor or some gilding wear. The gilding wear is most notable to the very edges, perhaps from placement in cabinet(s). One vegetable cover with 4 long hairline crack. No chips.
