Circa 1890.
The roundel painted with the central image of the Madonna of the Chair,Madonna dela Seggiola in polychrome enamels. Madonna painted as a stylish Renaissance woman of circa 1515, holding Christ as a toddler, while St. John the Baptist holding the Cross looks on beaming.
The back with graphite 197, and 46 in brown enamel, printed mark, possibly for an Italian firm.
4 5/ diameter, the plaque. Mounted on green silk, and under glass in a gilt wood frame, 8 1/2 square.
