From Timna cemetery, Western Aden Protectorate in South Yemen comprising bronze forearm with hand, bronze tripod cup, bronze pedestal cup, bronze ladle, alabaster cosmetic jar with non-matching lid, limestone cosmetic jar missing lid, carved stone ibex figure also included are 20th century rubber sheathes with unfamiliar script.
Approximate dimensions: Ibex 1 1/2 high, tripod cup 1 3/4 high, arm 3 1/4 long..
From the collection of Robert Leroy Shalkop, former archaeologist at the Smithsonian, author of two books, and former director of the Everhart Museum, Brooks Memorial Art Gallery, and Anchorage Museum.
Condition: Patina and aging throughout. Limestone jar with chip to foot.
