Chinese Carved Aloeswood Wall Vase with Base

Naturalistically carved as a flattened Hu vase with gnarled knots, decorated in the front with a cartouche panel relief carved with a poem signed with two seals, all with an overhanging pine tree above and bamboo emerging from below, the dense grain of the wood with a rustic brownish hue, together with a pierced openwork wood stand.
Height without base: approximately 7 1/4 inches.
