Charles Catteau (French, 1880-1966). Art Deco glazed black slip creamware vase stenciled with bears in various postures onto a wide airbrushed gilt band, with lines and bands of gilt decoration above and below. Glazed white body to interior.
To underside, very light black round stamp: Made in Belgium - Boch Frres - La Louviere - Fabrication belge. Shape 975 impressed. D.2127 in gold.
Approximate dimensions: 12 1/4 inches high..
Condition: Overall condition is very good, with light underglaze blue markings to rim edge. Light scratching to surface. A few sparse frit dots, filled by gold or black slip.
