CONDITION: Tiles missing throughout from use and wear, all consistent with age.
Note: This mosaic was made for the Black Cat Cafe/Bar in San Francisco, which opened in 1933 and would be around for 30 years. In 1948 the State Alcohol Beverage Control Commission tried to close the Black Cat for serving Homosexuals.
