The body painted in grey, black and white with faux marble effect, with gilt snake form handles and faux white pearls to rim. The center front depicting a finely painted scene of Tunbridge Castle Kent, on waisted and faux pearl ankle, on flat, squared base.
Tunbridge Castle/ Kent /Barr, Flight Barr Worcester/Manuf to their Majesties / Prince of Wales Royal Family in iron red ink script to underside.
Approximate dimensions: 5 1/2 high x 5 1/2 inches diameter..
Condition: Both sets of snake handles have been broken and glued, with over-painted gilding. On one side, the damage is less severe, and the restoration better. On the other side, restoration, albeit professional, is of moderate proficiency. Minor gilding wear, scratches to surfaces. The foot of the urn, has two areas with black kiln-speckling: front right, and rear left.
