Sight: 15 1/4 x 11 1/2 inches Frame: 23 1/8 x 18 5/8 inches.
Dated and signed in both English and Japanese lower left: Foujita 1933.
Provenance: Was given to the current owner by his mother who had a friend who painted with Foujita in the early 1900s. This drawing was gifted to that friend by Foujita and then gifted to the consignors mother and was passed to the current owner through descent.
CONDITION: In overall fair condition, the sheet is not laid down. But strong discoloration through entire sheet with mat burn around whole image. Water damage with foxing throughout. Area of missing paper along the right edge of the sheet, with creasing especially visible in the bottom left corner. Sheet would benefit from being restored and properly framed.
