Circa 1896.
The bisque head and integral upper chest modeled with open mouth, four teeth blue glass fixed eyes. Original ringletted brunette wig, under the original hat above the cylindrical balsa wood body hiding the music box, decorated with pale blue green silk dress terminating in lapettes with cotton trim, over a muslin skirt with lace hem, on turned maple handle. The music box is engaged by holding the handle upright and spinning it counterclockwise.

Approximate dimensions: 14 1/2 L. including the cockade to hat..
Condition: Light rubbing, wear to bisque surfaces. Silk with some shattered areas, and fading. Discoloration to slip over balsa wood. The music box needs to be cleaned and the comb cleared so that the tones of the tune can be more discernible.
