The ebonized top carved in relief with foliate motif centering crest with ducal crown over M above two reclining dogs and stags on later carved oak base.
Approximate dimensions: 33 1/4 high x 49 3/4 wide x 27 inches deep..
Provenance: Historic Filoli Estate, Woodside, CA.
Condition: The top with loss and wear to ebonized finish, with gilt and red base showing in some places beneath it. The top with partially repaired horizontal crack. The base with some patina and wear. Base with crack to the top of two leg, small split to one foot. Some repair and restoration visible to the bottom of the base.
