Late 20th Century.
Ancestral Puebloans, previously known as Anasazi. Rounded tapering triangular form base, under wide strap handle, with raised opening. The form designed as a duck effigy. White body painted with black bands in geometric patterns.
To underside, scratch incised into the clay (roughly) Anasazi / XX/3-cornered/ Effigy.
Approximate dimensions: 8 H. x 8 W. x 6 D..
Condition: Good overall condtion, with some visible scratching and dimples in molding. Minor green paint ink near left side of mouth neck.
