It is illustrated in Coysh Henrywood1982, p. 328. More information about this pattern is given in CoyshHenrywood1989, p. 181, where it is stated that the pattern was copied with some minor differences from a painting titled The Bull by the 17th century Dutch artist Paulus Potter.
Condition: Some crazing throughout. Some wear to underside includes staining and discoloration. The top with several light scratches.
