19th Century Japanese Ozawa Shuraku Mixed Metal Letter Opener.

Fourth quarter 19th century.
Ozawa Shuraku (Japanese, 1830-1894). The bronze blade incised with a turtle set in a landscape to one side, and a bird above a bamboo stalk opposite the handle with three cranes in relief, birds amongst bamboo in low relief opposite cold painted decoration to the handle.
Marked and additional unidentified character below.
Approximate dimensions: 12 1/2 long x 1 1/2 inches wide..
Condition: Patina throughout. Some rubbing to cold painted decoration. Some red to the blade may be remnants of pigment, or patina. Miniscule nicks to the end of the blade.
