17th Century Flemish Allegorical Verdure Tapestry.

Early 17th century.
Possibly depicting Europa and the Bull, with hand maiden to her side, abundant fruit and vegetables, and gardening tools lower center, with an arcaded grotto and trees to the center background. Neptune under a cascading fountain to the right and Cupid on a stepped column to the left, all under abundant verdant trees, and with a figure of gardeners planting towards center left. Acanthus leaf band within stylized flower-head border reserved on a blue band.
Approximate dimensions: 10 feet 9 inches high x 15 feet 6 inches wide..
Condition: Some wear, tears, and condition issues. Some fading particularly along the upper borders. Remarkably good condition considering the age.
