Two German Porcelain Figural Dog Groups: Borzois. A Neundorf figure of a pair of Borzois, modelled in glazed white porcelain, on a waisted oval base, and R. Steiner for Schaubach Kunst glazed model of a brindle Borzoi, enamelled in brown, grey-black, and white, on a flat scroll-shaped base. The first, printed grey spread eagle mark over NEUNDORF/GERMANY. The second, green printed Schaubach marks within shield. R. Steiner incised to base toward back. Mid- to late-20th Century. {Approximate dimensions of largest: 10 high x 15 wide x 5 3/4 inches deep.}. Condition: Minor surface wear; gilt losses to Neundorf figure. Left forepaw near ankle with crazing, overglazed, as manufactured.
